Production and filming schedule

    Me and my group's production is ... I would not say easy, but it is as difficult as it could be because me and my group members think alike when it comes to our group film. Our progress has not been the easiest but us getting closer over working on our film has made it easier for us to work together and understand each other. And now we are more comfortable, so we will not be afraid to tell someone their idea will not help our project or scared to speak up and give an idea.   

 

 

    Our film schedule gets a little difficult sometimes because we are all super busy with school then outside of school, we all have family and weekend errands. Then sometimes after school we have a lot of homework which occupies a lot of our time so then we are not able to meet up. But I believe we have met up about like 1 or 2 times I do not quite remember... But we plan to meet up about 4/5 times again maybe once this time or twice next week if it is possible.

Research and Planning ..

     I've been doing a lot of thinking and researching. And I feel as if my best genre choice for the type of film I have in mind would be a documentary. But you can never be too sure, so I'm still debating on my final decision. It may take a while, possibly a couple days to come to a final decision.. But the second I figure out which genre I'm doing for sure, I'm getting straight to work.     I watched a few short films slightly similar to my idea, because there was not really any examples on the idea I have for my film.. Due to the fact it's kind of a new topic to the community and creative. In all honesty, I truly love my idea but I'm not really sure I'll be able to pull it off due to my environment and not having the proper tools or for say equipment.. What did you learn about using production technologies (cameras, lights, etc.)?

    W hat I learned about using production technologies is that it isn't simple, but learning how to use the technologies also wasn't extremely hard. Me and my group members found out how to properly use the equipment within 10 minutes max... It was obviously the most basic levels of knowledge since we wouldn't be need the equipment long term.     The technology we used was our phones, which we already knew how to use. A Kodak camera which we had to read about a little to understand how to operate. A portable studio microphone that my group members older sister showed us how to use, which was connected to the computer which made it 10x more easier to understand. Then sometimes we used lighting but mainly natural lighting majority of the time.     What I learned about the camera is that it was different from other cameras, it started recording differently the other cameras.
