What kinds of transitions, effects, and titles are you using? Why?

     The transition that is being used for me and my group members film is fade in and fade out. We aren't using any effect to my knowledge at the moment. And our title is in bold and dark red since it is a horror film.

    The reason for that transitions is because that's really the only transitions we were really familiar with at the time, then when we explored more we thought the fade in and out was the best fit because it faded into an all black dark screen giving it a scary look and feel. 

    The reason for us not using effects is because we felt as if we didn't need effects at the moment in editing, but i'm pretty sure we'll go back before our project is due and re-look over our past editing and make multiple changes

         The conventions of the genre that i chose to do for my film is that the setting of the horror/comedy film must be in the woods, a graveyard, or a dark isolated place so the audience will know as soon as they see the setting this movie may be a horror film. The custom of the killer may be a mask or a dark outfit with their revealing face. The setting for the comedy scenes will be in public local areas making the film not only frightening, but also funny so it entertains the audience more.     The most frightening part of my film was shot in a very empty and isolated park and field where no one other then the characters in the film was spotted. And the character in my film ran while in the empty field just felt as if it never ended.
