production technology

    

    Finally, me and my group has made it to the production stage in our filming project progress!! The technology I will be using for my project is a Kodak camera, iPhone camera, a portable studio microphone, and a Mac Book computer. All of these takes a big toll on the full outcome.

    Every single one of these technology devices plays an enormous part in the production part of the film. Lets break down each technology and their roles. First, we have the Kodak camera...The role of the Kodak camera would be to record the overall film, then the iPhone's role will be to be the back up camera and will be used to edit the film as well. On to the next technology device, being the portable studio microphone... The role of the portable microphone is to record our speaking and other sounds that we need inserted into our film sound more vividly and clearly. Now finally, our last technology device being used for the film production is the Mac Book computer... The computer is used to edited the sound clips that were recorded on the microphone and to help assist the phone edit the film once we are done.

   Neither one of these technology devices has a bigger or smaller role, they all play a enormous role in the film in total. I can't wait until my film partners and I are finish filming and editing our film, so we can finally show others our hard work. We will use every single technology devices I stated above to help us film and edit our overall film.

         The conventions of the genre that i chose to do for my film is that the setting of the horror/comedy film must be in the woods, a graveyard, or a dark isolated place so the audience will know as soon as they see the setting this movie may be a horror film. The custom of the killer may be a mask or a dark outfit with their revealing face. The setting for the comedy scenes will be in public local areas making the film not only frightening, but also funny so it entertains the audience more.     The most frightening part of my film was shot in a very empty and isolated park and field where no one other then the characters in the film was spotted. And the character in my film ran while in the empty field just felt as if it never ended.
